The course is intended to expose the student to the various simulation tools (Adams, Ansys, Maxwell) so that they would be able to,

  • Design and simulate a mechanism

  • Perform structural analysis

  • Design and simulate electromagnetic systems

Modelling of a horseshoe-shaped permanent magnet and calculation of force acting on a nearby iron
